The main jihadi websites promoting Al Qaeda were apparently knocked out almost two weeks ago, reported the Christian Science Monitor.
This is said to be the longest sustained outage of the terror group's websites since they came online eight years ago, reported the Washington Post.
No one has publicly claimed responsibility for shutting down the sites.
Experts have indicated that a cyberattack was likely involved due to the breadth and length of the outages.
