Militants from the Yemeni branch of Al-Qaida have executed more than a dozen Yemeni soldiers captured during fighting Saturday in the southern Lahj province, says a military official cited by Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Fifteen troops from the 119th Brigade were killed by Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula in the desert between the Lahj and Abyan provinces, said the local official.
