Al-Qaida Figure Threatens U.S. In New Video

A longtime deputy of Osama bin Laden warns that Muslims will destroy the U.S. in a 28-minute videotaped eulogy for the slain Al-Qaida leader, reports the Daily Telegraph (U.K.).

Ayman al-Zawahri says the United States buried bin Laden at sea and withheld photographs of his corpse out of fear.

He also linked recent Arab uprisings with Al-Qaida, saying those new governments will move to destroy the U.S. and its allies.

The video was widely reported on Wednesday.
