Afghan and NATO officials have different accounts of an airstrike near the nation's capital.
Afghan officials said a NATO airstrike outside of Kabul on Wednesday killed 18 women and children as well as a dozen militants, reports the Los Angeles Times.
However, NATO officials said that only "multiple insurgents" were killed during a joint operation with Afghan security forces in the eastern Logar province.
