Airstrike In Kunar Province Takes Out Taliban Leader

A Taliban explosives expert has been killed in a NATO airstrike in eastern Afghanistan, reports UPI.

Nabi Rahman, a leader of the group in Kunar province, was killed Friday, according to a statement from NATO's International Security Assistance Force.

Rahman provided explosives and training for insurgents and planned attacks against domestic and coalition forces, said NATO officials.
