Airstrike Kills ISIS 2nd-In-Command, Says Defense Ministry

The Iraqi Defense Ministry says a coalition airstrike has killed the deputy commander of the Islamic State (ISIS), reports the Wall Street Journal.
The strike targeted a meeting of ISIS leaders at a mosque in Tal Afar in Iraq's northwestern Nineveh province, killing several people including Abu Ala Al Afri, said a ministry statement on Wednesday.
The coalition had "accurate intelligence" about Al Afri's location, according to the ministry.
