Airports On Alert Over Hijack Threat

The Indian government has increased security at its airports and warned Indian airlines about a possible hijack attempt.
Recent intelligence is said to indicate that terrorist groups may be plotting to hijack a plane, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Airports were put on high alert and security was tightened following the alert, a Home Ministry official said. Sky marshals have also been deployed on certain flights, he added.
