Airbus Offers Tiger Upgrade For Army’s Attack Helicopter Program

Airbus Helicopters has announced that it offered a modernization program for the Australian army’s existing Tiger attack helicopters in response to the army’s request for information for a potential replacement. The Armed Reconnaissance Capability program calls for a total of 29 helicopters, 24 for operational units and five for training, to replace the current fleet of 22 Tiger helicopters, noted AIN Online.
