European aircraft manufacturer Airbus Military has completed the first flight of a C-295 cargo aircraft prototype fitted with an airborne early warning and command (AEW&C) system, reports the defense firm.
The aircraft, fitted with a 20-foot (6-m) in diameter dummy radar rotodome, flew for nearly three hours from Airbus Military's facility in Seville, Spain, on Tuesday.
