Air Guard F-16s At Joint Base Andrews Get New Radars

The U.S. Air Force has completed installing new radars on Air National Guard fighters assigned to Joint Base Andrews, Md., reports Northrop Grumman.  The installation of the APG-83 radars meets an emergent operational requirement identified by U.S. Northern Command for homeland defense missions, the company said on Jan. 9.
