Air Force Welcomes P-3C Orions, Retires S-2T Tracker ASW Aircraft

The Taiwan air force has officially retired its aging S-2T Tracker anti-submarine warfare aircraft, reports the Taipei Times.
During the same ceremony on Friday, the service inducted its newly acquired P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft.
Twelve Orions are replacing 11 Trackers, noted the Central News Agency (Taiwan).
Navy-operated S-70C ASW helicopters and MD500 helicopters will support the P-3C fleet, the military said.
