The Government Accountability Office has just released a report outlining the Air Force's shortfalls in maintaining its uncrewed aerial vehicle workforce.
In addition to a shortage of pilots and sensor operators, the service lacks data on predicting crew retention rates and has failed to identify the number instructor positions needed to meet its personnel requirements, said the report published on June 25.
