An Indian military jet has intercepted an unidentified balloon-like object in the western part of the country, say air force officials, as reported by the Times on India.
According to the air force, the object was detected on Tuesday in Rajasthan state's Barmer district. Balmer is about 500 kilometers (310 miles) from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, which borders Pakistan.
