Air Force Seeks Hypersonic Missiles For F-22, F-35

The U.S. Air Force has indicated it wants to build a hypersonic missile that can be launched from both F-22 and F-35 stealth jets, reports Wired.com's Danger Room blog.
Plans calls for the "High-Speed Strike Weapon" to travel at five times the speed of sound, thus rendering an enemy's anti-aircraft systems of little use.
