Air Force Returns SA-3 Air Defense System To Service

The Ukrainian air force has restored a retired air defense system to service, reports the Defence Blog.

On Thursday, the service said that a Soviet-era S-125 Pechora (NATO: SA-3 Goa) system would take part in tactical exercises in the Kharkiv region.

The air force retired its S-125s in 2013.

The S-125 is designed to defend strategic sites against aerial threats.
