Air Force Receives Pair Of Helicopters For SAR Missions

The Egyptian air force has taken delivery of two AW139 helicopters built by AgustaWestland North America in Philadelphia, reports the manufacturer.

The helicopters, optimized for search-and-rescue missions, were purchased under the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program, said a company release last week.

The aircraft were ordered in May 2011.
