Air Force Receives 3 New Electronic Warfare Aircraft Designed To Jam Enemy Systems

The Russian air force has taken delivery of the first three Il-22PP Porubschik electronic warfare planes, reports Russia Beyond the Headlines.
The aircraft are equipped with the latest jamming equipment that is reportedly capable of disabling electronics systems on hostile aircraft, the news site said on Nov. 9.
The gear can "blind" airborne warning and control system aircraft and counter Patriot air defense systems, according to an unnamed defense industry source.
