The Nigerian air force says it has modified two previously demilitarized Alpha Jet training aircraft so they can carry weapons, reports the Vanguard (Lagos).
The jets were among four purchased from the United States last year to enhance the air force's capability in the fight against the Boko Haram terrorist group in northern Nigeria, according to an air force statement.
