The Air Force has declared that an F-22 fighter experienced a "ground incident" last week during training at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla., reports the News Herald (Panama City, Fla.).
The aircraft was in the midst of a "touch-and-go" training session on May 31 when it made contact with the ground, officials said.
The Air Force has provided few details on the incident, other than to say it was not a crash and that the pilot was not injured.
