Air Force Names 3 Female Fighter Pilots As Vice Squadron Commanders

The South Korean air force has appointed three female pilots as vice commanders in fighter squadrons for the first time, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
Maj. Park Ji Yeon, 38, from the 16th Fighter Wing; Maj. Park Ji Won, 38, from the 8th Fighter Wing; and Maj. Ha Jung Mi, 37, from the 20th Fighter Wing, were promoted within their squadrons in December, according to an air force spokesman.
