Air Force Lays Out Plans For Electronic Weapon, More Potent Air-To-Air Missiles

The U.S. Air Force has outlined some of its missile priorities at a defense exhibition, reports Flight International.

The service plans to introduce the Counter-electronics High-Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP) on the conventional Air-Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) as an interim capability, Gen. Hawk Carlisle, the head of the Air Combat Command, said at the Air Force Association's Air and Space Conference outside of Washington, D.C.
