Air Force Kills Large Number Of Bandits In Retaliatory Airstrikes

A Nigerian air force helicopter gunship has killed several bandits that had attacked a joint police patrol in the central Niger state, reports This Day (Lagos).
On March 31, the gunship attacked an area outside of the village of Kalaibu, where the bandits had gathered ahead of an assault on the village, said a military spokesman.
The bandits had recently killed several police personnel and soldiers in an attack on a patrol, the spokesman said..
