Air Force Kills Hypersonic Missile Program

The U.S. Air Force has decided to cancel the Hypersonic Conventional Strike Weapon (HCSW) program, reports Aviation Week & Space Technology. On Monday, the service issued a termination of convenience notice to Lockheed Martin’s Space division. Lockheed had been developing an air-launched boost-glide hypersonic weapon under the HCSW program.
