The Slovak air force has suspended training flights for its MiG-29 jets after one of the aircraft crashed near Nove Sady in the western Nitra region, reports the Slovak Spectator.
The jet was one of two MiG-29s that took off for a training flight on Saturday evening. One landed safely at Sliac airport about an hour later, while the other was sent to the Bratislava airport due to deteriorating weather conditions, said Defense Minister Peter Gajdos.
