Lebanon has confirmed the purchase of six A-29 Super Tucano aircraft from Embraer, according to a release issued by the Brazilian planemaker.
The deal covers logistics support and a complete training system for pilots, said the Embraer release on Monday.
The aircraft will be built in Jacksonville, Fla.
The sale was approved by the U.S. State Dept. in June and is part of a more comprehensive arms package for Lebanon.
