Air Force Gets 4 New Su-34 Fighter-Bombers

The Russian air force has taken delivery of four new Su-34 fighter-bombers, code-named Fullback by NATO, RIA Novosti reports.
Full-scale production of the Su-34s began in 2008 in Novosibirsk as part of the military's modernization program.
The aircraft is intended to replace the aging Su-24 (Fencer) fighter-bomber fleet, an air force spokesman said. A total of 70 aircraft are due to be delivered by 2015.
