Air Force General Assassinated In Damascus

Official Syrian media have blamed "armed terrorists" for the assassination of an air force general, reports Al-Manar TV (Lebanon).
Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Khalidi was killed on Monday outside a friend's house in the Rukn-Eddin neighborhood of northern Damascus, said Syrian state media.
Khalidi was said to be one of the military's top aviation experts.
