Air Force F-16 Fighters In Line For New Electronic Warfare Systems From U.S.

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Harris Corp. a contract to supply electronic warfare systems to the Royal Moroccan Air Force, reports the Melbourne, Fla.-based electronics firm.
The US$91 million deal covers AN/ALQ-211(V)4 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suites (AIDEWS) for Moroccan F-16 fighter jets.
Spare parts, support equipment and services are also included in the contract.
