Air Force, Embraer Finalize Deal For 8 Super Tucano Aircraft

The Indonesian air force has agreed to buy eight Super Tucano light attack aircraft from Embraer, reports the Brazilian manufacturer of the aircraft.
Embraer was selected to supply the aircraft in November 2010 after a competition. Negotiations over the contract were just completed, according to an Embraer release.
The contract, whose value was not disclosed, also includes ground support stations and an integrated logistics package. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2012. ...
