Air Force Cuts Use Of F-5 Fighters After Finding Airframe Crack

The Swiss air force has restricted flight operations of its F-5E Tiger aircraft after an airframe crack was found in one of the jets, reports defense-aerospace.com.
The restrictions cover 30 F-5Es that still conduct regular flight activities. The two-seat F-5Fs are not affected, according to the service.
During an inspection, two cracks were found, the second being larger and in the same part of the aircraft's structure, according to a release from the Swiss Defense Dept....
