Air Force Contract Calls For Additional Targeting Sensors For Reaper UAVs

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon, McKinney, Texas, a contract for sensor turrets for unmanned aerial vehicles, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The $191 million contract covers Multi-Spectral Targeting System B (MTS-B) turret and high-definition electronic units, MTS containers and shop-replaceable units.
The MTS-B is designed for integration with MQ-9 Reaper UAVs.
Work covered by the contract is to be completed by Sept. 30.
