Turkish air force jets have attacked suspected Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants in northern Iraq, reports the Anadolu Agency (Ankara). On Oct. 3, Turkish jets hit PKK targets in the Metina and Zap regions of northern Iraq as part of the anti-terror Operation Claw 3 that began in August, said a Turkish Ministry of Defense announcement on Oct. 3.
