In a first, the Burkinabe air force has conducted a joint operation with the French air force, reports the Defense Post. On Dec. 24, a Burkinabe Super Tucano light attack aircraft worked with two French Mirage 2000D fighter jets to disrupt a ground attack, according to a French Armed Forces Ministry release on Jan. 9.
