Air Force Chief Dismissed, Bribery Alleged

President Alexander Lukashenko has dismissed the head of the Belarusian air force, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).
Maj. Gen. Igor Azarenok was charged last month with accepting a large bribe, according to the Interior Ministry.
Azarenok was detained on Dec. 24, though initial reports indicated that he was suspected of unspecified abuse of authority.
