Air Force Calls For Another 8 C-17s

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a contract modification to build additional C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft, reports the Dept. of Defense.
The $1.5 billion contract covers the construction of eight C-17s.
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting authority.
