The Ghanaian air force has ordered five A-29 Super Tucano light attack and advanced training aircraft, reports Embraer, the Brazilian manufacturer of the planes.
The deal includes logistic support and the establishment of a training system for pilots and maintainers.
The Super Tucanos will be used for advanced training, border surveillance and internal security missions, according to an Embraer release on Friday.
