The Finnish air force has become the first non-NATO member to meet NATO standards after a series of tests in Germany, reports the Helsingin Sanomat.
Finland is a member of NATO's Partnership for Peace program.
The trials demonstrated the service's ability to cooperate at the detachment level in air-to-air operations, according to air force officials.
