The Danish air force is now officially in charge of the helicopter service that was formerly part of the navy, reports Rotorhub.
The Defense Ministry's plan for 2010-2014 stipulated that all Danish military helicopters would come under air force control this year.
The eight Lynx helicopters previously used by the Navy Helicopter Corps have become an air force squadron, called Esk 723.
