The Indian air force says that friendly fire downed an Mi-17 helicopter during February clashes with Pakistan, reports the Press Trust of India.
On Friday, Air Chief Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria called the Feb. 27 incident a "big mistake."
The revelation comes as a court of inquiry into the incident has issued its findings.
