Air Force Adds Radar, Completes Surveillance Network

The Estonian air force has opened a new radar station, completing its military air surveillance network, reports Estonian Public Radio.
The second of two GM 400 radars ordered jointly with Finland was formally handed over on Tuesday, reported Jane's Defence Weekly.
The latest radar is installed at the Toika air force facility near Otepaa in southeastern Estonia.
The first of the two radars, based on Muhu Island in the Baltic Sea, was handed over in March 2013.
