Air Defense Personnel From Fort Bliss Bound For Qatar

Soldiers from the 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade headquarters at Fort Bliss, Texas, are about to deploy to Qatar, reports the El Paso Times (Texas).
About 75 personnel from the unit will serve as the headquarters element responsible for three Patriot battalions with about 2,000 soldiers in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, said Col. Alan Wiernicki, the brigade commander.
