Air Control System To Be Modernized By U.S. Company

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin a contract to modernize the Jordanian air force's air control system, reports Lockheed.

The US$26 million contract, awarded as part of the Foreign Military Sales program, covers the supply of the Omnyx system. The system enables sensor, voice and data communications to provide interoperability throughout the air force and other elements of the Jordanian military.
