Agreement Reached To Help Develop Embraer's KC-390 Program

Colombia has signed a formal declaration of intent with Brazil for participation in the KC-390 tactical airlifter program, reports Defense News.

If Colombia takes the next step in the program, led by Brazil's Embraer aeronautics firm, the air force plans to acquire 12 KC-390s.

Bogota's participation may include establishing a factory for machined parts, according to a statement by Embraer.
