Agreement Reached For Common Air Defense System With Russia

Russia and Kazakhstan have decided to create a regional air defense system, reports Interfax-AVN (Russia).

The accord was reached during talks at the defense minister level in Moscow, Lt. Gen. Alexander Sorokin, the head of the Kazakh air defense forces, said on Wednesday. The agreement is similar to that reached between Russia and Belarus, he said.
