The Colombian and U.S. governments have agreed to expand their regional security cooperation, reports Agence France-Presse.

U.S. President Barack Obama and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos formalized an agreement on Sunday in Cartegena, emphasizing working together in the Western Hemisphere and West Africa.
