The U.S. is nearing an agreement with Pakistan to use its airspace for operations in Afghanistan, reports CNN.
In a classified briefing on Friday, the White House told lawmakers that a formal agreement is close, three sources said.
The accord would allow the U.S. to use Pakistani airspace to reach Afghanistan for conduct military and intelligence operations against ISIS-K and other adversaries.
