Two Chinese warships have arrived in Egypt for a five-day visit after completing an anti-piracy escort mission in the Gulf of Aden and the waters off Somalia, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The destroyer Guangzhou and frigate Chaohu are in Alexandria as part of Beijing's efforts to improve military cooperation with those nations near Somalia.
The vessels are scheduled to depart Egypt and continue sailing through the Mediterranean on Friday, said navy officials. ...
