The Israeli air force launched airstrikes at targets in the Gaza Strip overnight Wednesday, the BBC reports.
Fifteen people were wounded when warplanes struck targets in Beit Hanoun, east of Gaza City, and smuggling tunnels near Rafah in the south, Palestinian medical officials said.
Gaza militants fired two mortars into Israel on Tuesday, and a donkey laden with explosives blew up near the Gaza border fence. No casualties were reported.
