A Dutch shipyard in Vlissingen recently finished the modifications to a Belgian frigate to enable it to operate NH90 helicopters, reports the Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding company.
The Belgian Leopold I, the former Karel Doorman in Dutch service, entered the shipyard in July 2009 for the work to its helicopter deck and hangar.
