After Coup, Military Leaders Consolidate Hold

The new military leaders of Guinea-Bissau say they have closed the West African state's air and sea space, Reuters reports.
The armed forces chiefs, who assumed control of the country after a coup last week, warned that all violations would be met with a "military response."
A military statement said on Monday that the actions were taken to preserve "national security."
